Dinner of Champions

Becca and I had the chance to volunteer at the National MS Societies "Dinner of Champions" event at La Caille (o la la!) in September. We love working with Tara and the other NMSS staff, volunteers, and special event leaders. This year we had the chance to meet gold medalist Steve Holcomb. He let us touch the gold medal--it is HEAVY! Wit a little bullying/help from Tara and the other MS crew I was able to meet longtime U of U women's basketball coach Elaine Elliott. I have looked up to this woman since I was in 9th grade. She was at the dinner being honored as Woman of the Year. She couldn't have been nicer! We have a blast at these events and eating at La Caille was no bother, either!
